Products
My product is missing a piece!
We do not carry or supply spare parts. If you are unable to contact the manufacturer please advise us with the details and we will contact the manufacturer for you. Please make sure you have thoroughly checked your product for parts as some of them may be very small and have a habit of hiding within larger components. Often a piece that does not seem to fit during assembly is a similar piece that was not used earlier in the construction, so check and double check!

My child is x years old. What should I get them?
Most products have a recommend age as part of their descriptions. Also, we have put together a table showing the different products and how they line up over various year levels, which can be found here.

I want a robot that I can program using x. What are my options?
Our robots cover a wide range of programming languages. A table can be found here summarizing the language usage of our various programmable robots.

What happens to my credit card and personal information?
All credit cards details are handled by the National Australia Bank. The World Of Robotics does not see your credit card details at any stage. Please see our privacy statement for more information.

UPS, Australia Post, Fastway, what's the difference?
When you place an order, depending on your location you will receive a choice of carriers. Fastway is a domestic courier that uses tracking numbers, and will generally be faster than regular post. Australia Post is avaliable for both domestic and international orders and does not use tracking numbers. Australia Post Insured Parcel is more expensive, but allows you to claim back the value of your purchase if your delivery is lost of damaged. UPS is an international carrier that uses tracking numbers. If time is not important, Australia Post will usually be your best option.

Does my free product add to the freight I pay?
No. Your free product is not included in freight calculations.

I ordered something last week and it still hasn't arrived? What's going on?
If you chose Fastways or UPS as your carrier, you will find a tracking number in your confirmation e-mail. If you go to their websites (www.fastway.com.au and www.ups.com respectively) you can enter this tracking number to find out exactly where your order is. We do not use Australia Post Registered Parcels and as such are not able to issue tracking numbers for orders using Australia Post.

The product I received isn't what I ordered!
While we endeavour to package every order correctly, we acknowledge that mistake/misunderstandings can occur. If the item we sent you is different from what you ordered, please contact us immediately so that we can resolve the situation to your satisfaction.

I received damaged goods!
We pack every order to withstand the rigors of shipping but there is always a possibility of goods being damaged. Please inspect the condition of your items. If they are unsatisfactory, file a claim with the carrier within 3 days and notify us to arrange for a replacement. Keep copies of all paper work including receipts, shipping slips etc.

Can I return my product?
If you are wishing to return a product you must contact us within seven days of receiving the product. Returned goods must be in "as new" condition and sent back to us pre paid. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) as no returns will be accepted without the RMA. Failure to obtain an RMA will result in delays in processing your request. There will be no refund for shipping, opened videos, software or opened models. If a refund is authorised we will send a cheque within 30 days. For credit card payments, refund will be credited to the card used for payment. If possible, please include the original invoice and reason for return with the product.

Why do I need to supply my email address and phone number?
Due to an increase in the fradulent use of credit cards, it may be necessary in some cases for us to contact you to confirm your identity.
