Aims of the Success for Boys Professional Learning Programme
Provide teachers with a conceptual framework for approaching boys' education.
Develop teachers' key foundation knowledge and understanding of concepts in boys' education.
Give schools strategies to address whole of school planning, to implement change management, and to conduct well-executed action research in classrooms.
Provide teachers with reading, workshop activities, practical strategies, case studies and resources aimed at improving boys' learning outcomes and engagement.
Enable teachers across Australia to benefit from the experience and research of national and international boys' education projects, such as the Australian Government's successful Boys' Education Lighthouse Schools programme, and the large-scale Raising Boys' Achievement initiative in Britain.

Robotics Fitting Into the Curriculum
Teacher training in-services can be arranged for any of your curriculum needs, ie simple machines, technology, personal development, etc. We also offer demonstrations of all our robotic platforms. These sessions are a great way to see what educational materials are available before committing to a particular product. Invite your principle, curriculum coordinator, parents and friends committee and student representatives! Prices do not include GST. We are able to design a hands on program in Robotics to meet the needs of the teachers attending the PD. Our school programs cater for students from Preps to Year 12.
Re Charges
Our daily rate is $812.00 +GST
Plus Travelling and photocopying $200.00 +GST (only applies if the venue is outside 100km)
Plus two nights accomodation (If there is sufficient time, for travel and set up on the first day, only one nights accomodation is required) and meals for 2 presenters.
Re Venue and Equipment Requirements
Large room on ground floor eg. Multi purpose room that has enough space for tables and chairs to be place in groups of two teachers to work in pairs during the hands on part of the session. All requirements are dependant on the presentation. Common equipment is listed.
Whiteboard and markers
An overhead projecter.
A computer and data projector for Power Point demonstration.
The programs can be either two half day sessions or one whole day session
Minimum number of teachers per session - 10
Maximum number of teachers per session - 20
